Charlotte

While on the surface Yuu Otosaka appears to be just another charming and intelligent teenager, he has a secret—he has the ability to slip into people's minds and fully control their body for five seconds at a time. Yuu has been using this skill for years to gain the highest grades, which allowed him to enter a prestigious high school.

When the enigmatic Nao Tomori catches Yuu using his power, she coerces him and his sister Ayumi into transferring to Hoshinoumi Academy, a school for students with supernatural abilities. The student council of the school, led by Nao, is tasked with secretly tracking down adolescents who abuse their powers. Yuu is forced to join the student council and together, they face formidable challenges that bring him closer to the shocking truth that his own, seemingly incomplete ability, might be more powerful than he could have ever imagined.

An original story from Jun Maeda, creator of Angel Beats and Clannad.
So you can guess that this anime probably will make you smile and cry. I really liked this one, Charlotte is actually one of my favorites in this years summer animes! Even though I really liked this, Charlotte's end really would need some fixing.

This anime is packed a tonne of good ideas and characters into too small a space. You can see this problem specially in the end. Charlotte would have needed more episodes than just 13. The story goes too fast and not so smoothly all the time. The characters would have needed more time, it would have been fixed if they just would have taken the side stories away and put more time towards developing the main characters.

Otosaka Yu is our main man, a boy who acts cocky and lacking in morals, he starts out as a nice change of pace from your standard high-school male lead. But soon stuff happen and he become quite ordinary main character. That's sad but true. I really was exited when Yu first appeared, he was kind a evil main character so that was new and exiting. It's really is okay that he turned "normal" but that happened too soon and fast... Tomori Nao is our main girl in this anime and she is cold and disinterested. Unlike Yu she stays the whole anime that way what she was in the start and doesn't change a bit. It's really sad that we can't see much character development or good character development in this anime.

But if we don't think those problems too much, this is good anime. There is good characters, animation looks nice, the idea of the story is good and quite interesting one, musics are nice and there some good voice actors too (for example Ono Daisuke and Uchiyama Kouki!).
So overall this is pretty good anime!

I'm sorry that I have been really lazy here, but I try to write about the other summer animes and some others what I have watched lately! ^^'

Have a nice day guys!
