"Mahou Shoujo Taisen" is a project created from a variety show for the Otaku "2.5 Chigen TV" (2.5 Dimension TV). The characters are the mahou shoujos that represents each local town in Japan. The characters that won from the second illustration competitions that were held on pixiv will appear in the anime.
I decided to write another today! I have too many animes to write about and more are coming because I haven't written about them right after I have finished them... even though that would be good idea and they wouldn't build up...
Anyway! I watched this one last week too! (I actually go to school every day even though this may not seem like it). Well this was really fast to watch even though there is 26 episodes, but each episodes duration is about 4 min so that's really short time. It is quite a sad that this is so short one because all the characters are really interesting ones and I really like the characters design!
This was watchable, but if the episodes would have been longer and story more solid (it was like one enemy for each character and then moving one to the next character). It would have been much better if the characters would even know each others, but the episodes was quite disconnected even though in the end there was this bigger enemy... but that didn't change much... :/
Overall it was watchable and characters was cute but the anime wasn't so good...
See ya soon~
I really try to write everything out of the way before Tracon (which is next weekend) so there will be lot more about other animes what I have watched lately~
Middle school girl Momoka is dragged into joining one of the strangest associations at her school, the Survival Game Club. Its members participate in various forms of paramilitary training under the watchful eye of charming and alarming president, Miou. How on Earth will the inexperienced Momoka survive her training, let alone Miou's company?!
I don't know why I watched this last week, but some reason I did. And I noticed one funny thing, last three year there have been coming up one Survival game anime each year. In 2013 there come up Stella Jogakuin Koutou-ka C³-bu and 2014 this and now 2015 Aoharu x Kikanjuu (which have been really good so far~). Maybe next year will come one too?
This one is based on Sabagebu named manga and that's still publishing (started in 2010). This anime is really short one and each episode containing 2 to 3 parts of separate plots. This anime was quite funny one and I watched it pretty fast because of that. Still even though all characters was good, I didn't find any favorites. They all are good but that's it... and that's little sad.
Overall it doesn't get bad nor become amazing, but it was watchable comedy anime.
Barsburg Empire's Military Academy is known for training elites who bring victory to the empire. Students of the academy freely utilize an ability called "Zaiphon" to fight, while the types of Zaiphon usable depends on the nature of the soldier. Teito Klein, a student at the academy, is one of the most promising soldiers produced. Although ridiculed by everyone for being a sklave (German for slave) with no memories of his past, he is befriended by a fellow student called Mikage. While preparing for the final exam, Teito uncovers a dark secret related to his past. When an attempt to assassinate Ayanami, a high-ranking official who killed his father, fails, Teito is locked away awaiting punishment. Only wanting the best for Teito, Mikage helps him escape. Teito ends up at the 7th District Church where he is taken in by the bishops. It is here that Teito attempts to evade the grasp of Ayanami and the Military, so he can rediscover his memories and learn why he is the person that can change the fate of the world.
This anime have been in my "plan to watch" list really long time already and finally last week I watched this! This anime is from year 2009 and it's 25 episodes long. This one was quite popular back then (or so it felt) when it come up but I didn't remember it's name so I never managed to watch it. And when I finally knew the name, I just put it on the list and never watched it until now.
This is shoujo anime and you really can see it. Of course it's not a bad thing! The animation is fine and I actually like all the main characters~ And I can't help it but I see too many pairing in this anime! Well the gay hints are pretty obvious so probably even those who don't see pairing in every anime will see some in this one (by force). It's really leaves open in the end so you must read the manga after this if you want to know more, because there isn't coming more anime of this.
This was really nice to watch and I'm definitely going to read 07 Ghost manga! There is only 17 volumes and it's fully finished~ But I think that's all for now! I will write about another anime when I have time to do so (and when I'm not too lazy to do so... ^^'')
I really don't know why I wanted to write Saturday and Sunday separately... I don't have that much photos or memory to write what happen those days!
Well I only took couple photos of that day's cosplay and only with my phone... Well, only I and Lon cosplayed that day so we kind a forgot to take some photos. And of course we had to drive back to Tampere from there so maybe that's one reason too why we didn't remember to take more photos or even one with actual camera...
Anyway! I cosplayed Irisu from Hyouka that day!
As I said, I don't remember very well what we did that day, because that whole weekend is one big day in my memory so I can't separate what happen in Saturday and what in Sunday... so I don't write about that so accurately in order. And that's why, I think "why I wanted to write those days separately!" I'm kind a stupid aren't I? :'D
Anyway! I really liked this years Animecon! I actually like it every year (it never disappoint me and I really hope that it never will~). There was lot of things to do so we didn't have time even eat until after the day ended. And I really liked everything we went to watch/listen except one... it was so bad and I don't remember which day it was. I probably tweeted/retweeted about it that day, but there was that one program what seemed pretty good and interesting, but it wasn't... I was so disappointed and I know that I wasn't the only one. Happily there wasn't many people who went listen to it... (so nobody else didn't feel that disappointment). It took like 10 minutes or even less and then he was like "any questions?"... well I don't want to even remember it so let's continue!
As I said this con was gooood~
And maybe the best part was once again the Anime concert~ It is just so beautiful! I don't remember which day it was though.. But anyway! It was great as always! Even though they didn't played SNK opening even though they had said that they will.. It was kind of sad because I waited it so much!
As always, I didn't took much photos of other cosplayers... sorryyyy, I really want to!
But... but... D:
Oh, and that's all what I bought from there this time!
I was quite a broke, so I didn't bought more manga even though I wanted...
Anyway! I think that's all!
I'm going to write next about some animes what I have watched!
So see ya later~~
I know... I'm so late with this! Animecon was couple months ago and I write about it this late... ahahaha, sorry. I know that I promised to write this soon but well I was too lazy to put photos in my laptop and some other things happened too, but okay, the main reason is that I'm lazy (but that doesn't surprise anyone).
I probably told that I was doing Hilde cosplay (from Soul Calibur), but that didn't happen... Well it's still unfinished and others from my cosplay team haven't even started (almost). So we decided to do something else and fast! We decided to do Puella Magi Madoka Magica group cosplay (yukata ver.). And for the other day I and Lon decided to cosplay from Hyouka (but I write about that later when I write about Animecon Sunday).
I have cosplayed Homura before (she was actually my first cosplay) and I decided to cosplay her again (mostly because I had the wig already). We wanted to do yukata version but because they don't wear yukatas in the anime we looked some figures. But because I'm too lazy, I don't put any photos of that figure, sorryyy.
Even though we thought that this is going to be fast and cheap cosplay... it wasn't! I painted those flowers so long.. I don't even want to remember how many hours I painted them.. (but I didn't sleep that night almost at all.. maybe 2h or something). And it wasn't so cheap either.. But cosplay never is.. ahahahahaha. But we made them in time! only the Hyouka cosplays wasn't ready so we did them in the hotel room at Kuopio ^^''
Anyway! Here some photos from Saturday!
My Homura cosplay (photos taken with my phone.. so very good quality.. ahahaha).
I really liked this and it was actually pretty good (even though the ribbon on my head could be better). And actually this was the first time when I had comfortable cosplay! Because almost every year I die because of the heat or the shoes... ^^''
But here some more photos~
They are so cute~
First is Haja, my lovely sister as Sayaka and then the red one is Lon as Kyoko and last one is J-pon as Mami. I also have one group photo but obviously we didn't took it (there was this photo shoot service thing).
I also decided that we had to find Madoka so we did find two of them, but with this one we took this beautiful photo, enjoy~
I also took some photos of another coslpayers, but not so much (too bad, there was quite a lot of good ones!). So maybe I put them next here~
I really should have written this right after Animecon, because I don't remember much anymore. Of course something! But I don't know what I should write about. There was some good programs (if that's the right word for it) but I don't remember which day we watched what... hmmm too hard, so maybe I don't write about those.. even though I kind a wanted ^^''
But there is some photos what we take after that day at the beach so I put them in the end:
And that's all for now! I really try to write about the Animecon Sunday soon as possible! But I still don't make any promises!
New Sailor Moon anime commemorating the 20th anniversary of Sailor Moon. Usagi Tsukino is a second-year middle school girl who is a little clumsy and a crybaby, but she is full of energy. One day, she meets Luna, a black cat with a crescent moon on her forehead, and she transforms into Sailor Moon, a sailor-uniformed pretty guardian of love and justice! As a chosen guardian of justice, Usagi seems to have a mission to find the Illusionary Silver Crystal with the other guardians and to protect the princess. Meanwhile, the queen of the Dark Kingdom, Queen Beryl, also sends minions to the town where Usagi lives to obtain the Illusionary Silver Crystal, which has immense power. This causes strange events to unfold... Can Sailor Moon really find the Illusionary Silver Crystal with the other Sailor guardians, and protect the princess...?!
I finally finished watching Sailor Moon Crystal and.... I'm not really sure how I feel about this. Well I watched really long time ago the first Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon (aired in 1992 - 1993) and probably it was dubbed (but luckily I don't remember it). I also watched it again some time ago and it was quite long (46 episodes), even though it's not long as some other animes, but that is pretty long because there is some fillers and well... I'm not big fan of those. Anyway! Now I finally finished watching Crystal! I'm a little disappointed even though I knew that there is no way that it can beat the original one. I have to say that the story goes smoothly in the Crystal and they haven't put any fillers in there and that really good. But I really like the style in the original one more and of course those 3D transformations in Crystal are just... no...
Just no...
The transformation is so much prettier in old one and I actually like the music more in that one too. The new one is a little longer (and they never skip that (if I remember right)... so when all the sailor guardians transform... iiit's going to take a while). And I just cant not hate that 3D animation... but happily it appears only in opening and in transformation if I remember right.
Even though it was quite nice watch Sailor Moon and I didn't even remember all the things what happen in Sailor Moon, so I enjoyed watching this anime. But because I'm not big fan of Sailor Moon (don't get this wrong, I like it of course) it took a little while to finish watching this even though there is only 26 episodes. Because it's not so my type of anime it took a little time, but I just had to watch it because it is Sailor Moon! And I don't regret that I watched it. It was fun to see those old and nostalgic characters again~
The Walking Dead: Season Two, is the second set of episodes for Telltale Games' award-winning The Walking Dead and the successor of Season 1. It was confirmed by Telltale Games in July 2012, due to the big success of the game.
There will be some spoilers!
Several months after the events of "No Time Left", Clementine is travelling with Omid and a visibly pregnant Christa after it's assumed that they reunited outside of Savannah. Stopping at a public restroom next to Gil's Pitstop, the trio discuss the name of Christa's unborn child before deciding to clean up. After heading into the female restroom, Clementine puts her gun down and begins to clean herself up but accidentally drops her bottle of water and heads into a stall to retrieve it. After retrieving it, she hears someone coming in. Having left her gun by the sink, Clementine stays in the stall as the stranger, Michelle, retrieves the weapon. However, Clementine accidentally makes a noise, causing Michelle to coax her out at gunpoint and demand that Clementine hands over her possessions. Suddenly, Omid enters the room and realizes what is going on. He takes a stealthy approach and sneaks toward Michelle, but the door closes loudly, causing Michelle's reflexes to turn and shoot, killing Omid. Christa suddenly runs in while Michelle immediately drops the gun and apologizes. Christa ultimately kills her with a shot to the abdomen before cradling Omid's body. The scene then cuts to sixteen months later, where Clementine and Christa (who is no longer pregnant) are seen sitting around a campfire in an attempt at cooking a weasel they caught and killed earlier on, evidently in a solemn mood with plans to head towards Wellington where Christa believes it may be safer.
I liked the first season really much so after playing that, I wanted play this soon as possible. And not so long time ago I bought this from Steam's Summer sale~ (again something from there). I played this game actually maybe month ago... I don't remember exactly. But now I finally write about this!
I liked this game too, but I must say that I liked first season more. Mostly because I played as Lee in the first game and now as Clementine. There was more difficult choices too, now there was only couple hard choices and somehow I liked the story more in the first one too. And in this there was only one character that I liked and he died, even though I played that part again and choose differently.... And the end was again little open, so there can come easily season 3, but I don't know if they are going to do that,
Overall this game was really good! And it was some how easier to play with computer than PS vita. Or the season 2 was lot easier, I don't know :'D
Anyway, this is all for now, I hopefully write later more, even though I don't have proper internet connect right now ^^''
A brave young warrior named Guts fights for his fortune as a mercenary on the front lines. A fated encounter unites Guts with the charismatic and deadly young man named Griffith. Leading the rogue soldiers known as the Band of the Hawk, Griffith wields his formidable force like no other. Driven by a quest for status, the Hawks exert military and social prowess the likes of which have never been seen before. The armies of Midland will quake with fear as Griffith and Guts set off on a path that will bring the world to its knees.
Later Guts, known as the Black Swordsman, seeks sanctuary from the demonic forces that pursue him and his woman, and also vengeance against the man who branded him as an unholy sacrifice. Aided only by his titanic strength, skill, and sword, Guts must struggle against his bleak destiny, all the while fighting with a rage that might strip him of his humanity. Berserk is a dark and brooding story of outrageous swordplay and ominous fate, in the theme of Shakespeare's Macbeth.
Berserk won the Award for Excellence at the sixth installment of Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize in 2002. It has been published in English by Dark Horse since November 4, 2003. The series has over 35 million copies in print worldwide and has been published in the U.S. Italy, Germany, Spain, France, Brazil, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Thailand.
Kentarō Miura (born 11 July 1966) is a Japanese manga artist best known for his popular dark fantasy manga, Berserk. Since the age of 10 Miura has been a mangaka. His first work titled Miuranger was for his class mates, and appeared in some of his school’s publications. After this Miura began work on Ken e No Michi (The Way Of The Sword) - his first work drawn using Indian ink. In 1979 while still in Middle School Miura began using rasters for his work, and trained himself to use professional drawing methods.
In 1988 came the first appearance of Berserk. The 48 page manga - now known as the Berserk Prototype, resembles a preview of the actual manga, with some key differences. It won Miura a prize from the Comi Manga School.
Having finished his course and receiving his doctorate in 1989 he began another work called Ohroh (The Wolf King) which is based on a script written by Yoshiyuki "Buronson" Okamura, creator of Hokuto no Ken, of Fist of the North Star fame. And another joint effort between Miura and Okamura in the 1992 work Japan, appearing in issues 1 to 8 of Animal House for that year, again with stand alone manga volumes following later in the year. At the end of this year Miura decided to dedicate himself solely to working on Berserk.
I'm pretty sure that nobody knows much about Miura's other works (outside of Japan) even though Berserk is pretty known manga and anime. Of course there is pretty new mini series which come in 2013 known as Gigantomakhia. So maybe somebody know that besides Berserk.
I actually watched the anime first, but because it's end really unfinished I just decide to read the manga that I can find out what happen after that where the anime ends. The manga start a little different than the anime so at first I though that they are going to go absolutely different ways. But actually it starts going pretty much same way as the anime.
The start is a little misleading specially in anime. In manga it actually isn't because they go back to that start after some kind of long flashback. Because the start is actually what happen after the anime so in anime it's really weird that they even put it in the first episode because they never go back in that time. In the manga instead, they go back to that time and then the actual story basically starts.
I normally can say right away that which is better the manga or the anime. I really liked the anime even though it's quite old and it's leaves quite unfinished. And the manga, I really don't like the start but when they finally go the time when Guts is fourteen or something it's starts going actually better and better. The manga isn't actually finished yet, even though it started in 1989.
The art is a little stiff at the start, but it's get better and it's actually really beautiful if you look the latest so far. And the story! I really like it, it's really interesting and I had no idea how the anime was going to end. It was quite surprise and the end seemed so dark and all that I had no idea how the manga continues after that. I just didn't know how the hell Guts would survive out of there. But then I read the manga and well it was big surprise that how Guts managed to escape.
Actually I haven't read the manga much, but I really want to. And I really like Griffith even though he is well... a bad guy. And Guts is pretty good main character, even though he is pretty ordinary one. There is pretty good supporting characters too, but not so good as Griffith. He is just my favorite~
This picture is a little spoiler one, but don't think about it too much. Griffith is just so beautiful in it~ I totally forgot to write more about Griffith and Guts after that previous picture of one comic page where Griffith says: "You are now.. mine". It was really funny because I'm fujoshi (sorry). And of course I think that Griffith likes Guts. Actually in Berserk you can see lot of things that can direct you that way. They never say it straight but I know what they are thinking (trust me). There is couple of times when Griffith says that Guts is his and that he owns him. And then there is some parts when Guts says "He is my...." and never complete that. So of course I can think really easily that he means that Griffith is his boyfriend or something~ ohohohoho~
But really, they are so canon!
But lets talk about the anime!
It started airing in 1997 and ended in 1998. There is only 25 episodes so it's not even so long, even though there happen quite a lot of things. I have heard lot of thing about this anime and I had feeling that this is one of those what everybody should have seen. I heard about this specially lot in 2012 and 2013 when the Berserk movies come. I didn't watch those movies then and actually I'm pretty happy that I didn't. Because now when I watched them after the anime they aren't so good. There happen basically the same things but they have cut it so much! Well what you can expect when somebody cut 25 episode anime in 3 movies. I must say that the end of the last movie is better than the last episode of the anime. Even though they leave it too pretty unfinished, but they show that how Guts escapes.
The movies are really pretty if you don't think all those 3D soldiers.... I don't say that the TV series is ugly, I actually did like the animation in that, even though it is old. But the movies are really pretty. And actually in the movies they didn't censored actually anything. There was more boobs than in the TV series even though in that they didn't censored them ether with some kind of magic light beams or really dark shadows. But in the movie there was some guts and stuff, not much.. but in the TV series they censored that kind of things (not with beams and stuff, but behind something etc.). Both have lot of blood. Actually in the TV series they did try censor everything else but boobs and blood.
But I really recommend that you watch the TV series of Berserk than the movies. In the movies they cut so much and I think there is missing some important parts too! So even though the TV series is old, it have only 25 episodes and it's actually much better than those 3 movies!
I just wanted to put this picture where you can see the same scene of the Griffith pointing Guts with hes sword in manga, movie and TV series.
Overall the anime is really good and the movies are really beautiful and of course the manga is awesome too! Even though it's pretty long and you don't know when it's going to end
(if never).

I'm really sorry that I didn't once again write about Animecon... even though I said that I write about it soon.. ahahahaha, sorry. It was almost one month ago when it was so... maybe I really should write it soon! But I cant promise when ^^''
