Alive: Saishuu Shinkateki Shounen

Taisuke Kanou is your average 16-year-old student. He has two close friends, Hirose and Megumi. Hirose has trouble with bullies, but Taisuke is always there to defend him, even though he just winds up getting beaten instead of Hirose. During class one day, Taisuke is hit by something unworldly and for that split second, he sees a vision of the universe. As he's walking home from school, he sees a girl fall and die in front of him, but his first thought is jealousy. He later finds out that the strange sensation that hit him is spreading throughout Japan. Those who are struck by it either commit suicide or "evolve," but the comrades have evolve usually have dark intentions for the rest of the world.

This manga is also known as Alive: The Final Evolution. The story is made by Kawashima Tadashi and the art is by Adachitoka.

I'm pretty sure that most of the people don't know the name of Kawashima Tadashi. Kawashima made his professional debut with Daughter Maker, which ran in Kōdansha's Monthly Shōnen Magazine Zōkan Great. From October 2003 to October 2009. And then he started making Alive with Adachitoka. This manga was actually the last one what Kawashima Tadashi made. Because Kawashima succumbed to liver cancer on June 15, 2010 and died at the age of 41, having finished Alive on his deathbed.

I really like this story and it's made me quite sad that this is only one manga which he made and isn't known so well outside of Japan. And an anime adaptation was planned for Alive: Saishuu Shinkateki Shounen and was to be produced by anime studio Gonzo. Production was cancelled in 2010 when the studio was delisted from the Tokyo Stock Exchange. I would have liked to see anime of this and it would have made Kawashima Tadashi probably really happy too if this manga would have an anime adaption. I really hope that this manga gets an anime some day.

And then Adachitoka, The name is a compound of the character artist Adachi (安達), and the background artist Tokashiki (渡嘉敷). Both are female. Adachitoka debuted by providing the illustrations for the manga "Alive: The Final Evolution". Prior to this, they were assistants to Katou Motohiro, author of "Rocket Man", and Shimizu Aki, author of the manga adaptation of "Suikoden III".

Noragami is their first original project, and began its serialization in 2011. And probably most of people who knows Adachitoka, knows them from Noragami manga or the anime (which come up in last year). And I must say that the season 2 of Noragami (Noragami Aragoto) is coming up this year!

I know that I said something about writing abut Animecon next but I just must write about this first! I bought 3 first volumes of this manga about 6 years ago. It was some of the first manga which I bought in English. I really liked it right away, even though it's quite serious and dark one. But then I didn't find 4 volume or 5 or anything but those which I already have. I still don't really know why I didn't find them (maybe the store just didn't see that there is any buyer for them). And quite many years have passed and still I can't find more from Finland (or I'm just blind).
Actually the series was published in English as Alive: The Final Evolution by Del Rey Manga. 8 volumes were released from July 31, 2007 to November 24, 2009 before publication was discontinued. So there is reason why I can't find it (but still I could have find all those 8).

Overall there is 21 volumes and even though I have read them all I really wan't to buy them. And probably all in Japanese (even though I have the first 3 in English and they probably look a little different). This is great manga and I really want it~

Like I said, I really like the story and the art is pretty good too and gets really much better when you read further. I really like the art style of Adatchitoka specially in Noragami (which is newer than Alive so they have evolved quite a lot~).

And now there is probably going to come some spoilers so go away now if you don't want to spoil yourself, thank you.

First, like I said I really like the story of this manga. It's little different what I have read before and even though I started reading so many years ago, I remember those 3 first volumes really well.
The main character is pretty normal main character type. He is a teenage boy who is bold, confident and who is not afraid to stick up for his friends. And of course he have dark past; he lives with guilt because he feels it was his fault that his parents died. Since his parents death, he has been raised and looked after by his older sister. But still I think Taisuke is quite a good main character even though he is quite ordinary one.

And then there is Hirose.
Yuichi Hirose is Taisuke's best friend. He is small and timid for his age and is picked on by bullies. Taisuke and Megumi often help him out with bullies and animals, as seen in the omakes. Although small, he himself is infected with the virus and is given powers. He lives with last living family member, his mother. His mother soon commits suicide due to the virus and he ends up congratulating her on her death due to mind altering by a police inspector. Hirose gains the power to make anything "disappear" by creating holes(this ability is known as void). He later resents Taisuke and becomes ambitious and cruel.

I really though that Hirose is one of the main characters. Well he obviously is one in the start but then he become more and more villain like and more distant. And when come that part when he have the the Heart, I noticed that there isn't much hope to get him back to the way he was. I really hoped that in the end Taisuke will have him back to normal but he have become quite mad. I kind a liked Hirose, but then I started to dislike him even more and more even though I hoped that he isn't that bad in the end....

And then Megumi... oh dear...
Megumi Ochiai is Taisuke's childhood friend. She has known him since his parent's death and has always been there for him. Megumi is quite loud and is easily angered. She has always looked out for Hirose and Taisuke since an early age and sometimes comes to asks Taisuke's sister for help.

I really don't like this girl. Right away I knew that she is going to make only trouble. And when I read even further and further I hate her even more. Well she isn't really bad character but she is really useless and I don't really remember anything when she have done something useful or anything that is necessary. And like Hirose, I really though that she is one of the main characters! Well in the beginning she is, but when she is with Hirose she become more and more something that really don't matter and you remember her actually only then when Taisuke speaks something about her. And something that I really don't like is the end! She is with Taisuke! Okay I know that they are childhood friends and it's some kind of thing that in anime and manga they start like each other. But still! There is Nami who is much better female character! And she likes Taisuke, so why don't Taisuke like her back D:.

There is lot of good characters and quite a many of them is dead. Let's start with Yura Takumi, he is one of the few people who've gained powers from the virus. He is a vicious man who dresses in overalls and often pokes out his tongue before a kill. He is an artist who destroys his work as soon as it's finished. He teams up with Katsumata and often talks about "The value of death" and how "humans are fossils". He kills quite freely and doesn't seem to be bothered about the consequences of his actions.

Takumi is actually one of my favorites in this manga like is Mitama, she is cute and little evil (after having the girl's corpse) so I like her too. But let's talk about Takumi first! I was really sad when I though that he died when Hirose get the Heart. But then later I was so happy when Takumi came back and had only lost his hand~ After losing his hand, he become more nicer character and it was quite sad that they thought that he is still enemy, even though he wanted to help and he did in the end before he died. And when he died I was really sad when Taisuke didn't notice who was died when he heard that one of his friend was died but he didn't know who when everyone was there but Takumi. I really would like that if Takumi would have become one of the good guys and part of the "Taisukes team".

Oh and then there is Mitama (Akuro)~
Akuro is an alien being containing the souls of an advanced civilization that obtained immortality. Without a body, the souls were unable to die and searched for hosts in order to commit suicide. Upon finding Earth, Akuro split into the souls of the civilization, four hearts, and a single consciousness referred to as Mitama ("The Soul"). Mitama originally inhabits the body of an owl, and later is able to enter and animate a girl's corpse.

When Mitama gets that cute girl corpse as hers body she become quite different character. When she was the owl one she wasn't so noticeable so I first thought that they are even completely different character. Well I noticed it later (but it took a little while me to notice that little fact...ahhahah). But anyway, this little girl Mitama is quite cute one and because she can be so cute and nice and then completely different person some times it makes me like her (I'm weird I know).

In the end when Taisuke, having evaded the attack, takes the two Akuro Heart pieces from Hirose causing him to regress into a normal Comrade. The President of the United States sends a nuclear missile towards Tokyo but is erased by Hirose. Hirose offers to travel with Mitama as a part of Akuro to repent for his crimes and his soul leaves his body. I really thought first that why they let Mitama do it. I really thought that Mitama is going to do something bad. But when I think about it more, I noticed that it's have to end well. There have been the "bad ending" already so Mitama must do the "good end" for this manga, specially when everything have gone quite wrong before and Mitama haven't been that bad and evil villain that she would ruin everything in the end. So I'm quite happy that this end this way; As Akuro leaves Earth, it gathers all its pieces returning Comrades back to normal. Five years pass and then they show how the characters are doing. And of course the only bad thing in this end is that Megumi and Taisuke are together but well I survive because this manga is overall so good.

So I think this is all!
I really wanted to write more, but I think this is enough and I'm really happy if someone read this~ Well it is full of spoilers so I'm pretty sure that almost nobody will read this ^^'.
I would have liked to tell more of those awesome characters and it's quite weird that I didn't mentioned Yuta or Nami (oh, I mentioned her actually) even though they are main characters and in the main character team with Taisuke! (I should really be ashamed that I didn't write about them). They are really good characters! I liked them both even though I first thought that Nami will be irritating, but she is actually good female character.

Oh! I almost started to write more even though I said that this is all!

Thank you so much for reading!
(even though nobody will read this because of the spoilers T^T).
But thanks anyway~

And see you guys later~

Mushishi Zoku Shou 2nd Season

Second season of Mushishi Zoku Shou.

They existed long before anyone can remember. They are simple and strange in nature, not resembling any other plant or animal in this world. In ancient times, people revered these bizarre creatures and called them "Mushi." People once again began to believe in the existence of these "Mushi" when they began affecting their lives in inexplicable ways. The one who connects the world of "Mushi" to the world of humans—they were called the "Mushi-shi." All life exists not to hinder others in this world. They are simply there to live as they were meant to.

Even though this is second season of Zoku Shou, I think that this is third season of Mushishi. For they who don't know, there is first season: Mushishi (2005-2006) and season two: Mushishi Zoku Shou (2014). And of course now this third season which come up in 2014 like the second one. I really liked those two seasons so I really wanted to see this Mushishi too! I don't really know why I didn't watch this right away when this come up last year. But now I finally watched it and I really liked it~~

In the first episode of this anime there is a one episode long flashback of Ginko's past. I always like to know characters pasts so I really liked specially the first episode~ And even though I have watched those previous seasons I didn't know much about Ginko. They tell only a little about him so I really liked to know more about him. But anyway! I really liked this and those who liked those two previous seasons will like this one too~ (same stuff as those other seasons).

I haven't read the manga much, but I really like that too and I want it. There is only 10 volumes so I'm probably going to buy them all too because it's not that long.

This is all for now! I'm probably going to write about Animcon or cosplays or one game which I played last month already (but I didn't write about it yet..).
Anyway! See you guys probably soon!

Mikagura Gakuen Kumikyoku

A story based on the super popular song series from NND. Eruna Ichinomiya, a freshman who dreamed of a school life filled with cuteness, entered a boarding school—Mikagura Private School. In this school, each of the cultural club representatives have to battle each other, with unique powers...!! What will happen to Eruna, who somehow ended up becoming the representative of a certain club?!

I really wasn't planning to watch this, but then again, I have quite a lot of time so why not? I really liked all those fighting scenes but unfortunately there aren't those so much. In this anime there is lot of character but some reason I really didn't find that kind of character which I really liked. Well they are good characters and they are really different from each others but.. some reason I didn't find that character which I would like.

Anyway! I really liked the story, it is interesting even though I would put there more action and made it even a little serious than it is. There is a lot of comedy because the main character is quite a energetic one.. okay really energetic. But in the end it gets a little serious because they tell more about Seisa's past and that's why I like the couple last episodes! I also liked the end of the anime, even though it is really predictable, but it suits this anime really well.

Like the synopsis says; this story is based on the super popular song series! Last Note.'s Vocaloid song series (sung by GUMI) with PVs by Akina. I actually didn't know that even though I listened quite a lot Vocaloid couple years go (not anymore though).

There is also novel which is still going on (started in 2013). The story is of course by Last Note. and art is by Akina just like those Vocaloid song series. There is manga too which started in 2013 too and the story is of course by Last Note. but the art is by Sayuki. Manga is still not finished so it's probably go different way than anime does.

But I think that's all for now!

Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo

Ryuu Yamada is known as a delinquent in his high school; he has been bored of classes after one year of attending school. One day, he accidentally falls from a flight of stairs onto Urara Shiraishi, the ace student of the school. Yamada wakes up to find that he has swapped bodies with her! The two try to reverse the change and discover that kissing triggers the body swap. On the suggestion of student council vice-president Toranosuke Miyamura, they revive the Supernatural Studies Club. The club encounters other "witches" with different powers that are activated with a kiss!

Oh dear, where should I start.. ^^'
I have read some of the manga before I watched this weird anime, but I talk about that later. So even though this sounds really weird anime and probably many didn't watch this (I don't know, I just haven't heard that many have watched this). I liked the manga, well it's really weird, but I liked the characters and it was quite a funny and really light to read. So that's why I really wanted to try this anime! First I was quite shocked that this was this weird, but I kind a get used to it and it was pretty fun most of the time.

The story is pretty unique and there is really different kind of characters (probably everyone is going to find even one which they like). It goes actually absolutely same way as the manga and I'm pretty happy about that. And because this is anime, you can must easier understand who is in whose body when they switch bodies (because of the voices). In manga it was sometimes a little hard if they switch many times in little time.

But like I said, I liked the manga... quite a lot actually, when I read it. I was of course a little younger (it was probably 3 years ago when I last time read it). But still I think that I probably would still like it, even though probably not as much as then. So maybe I would like to read it later.. but it's still unfinished so I'm not sure how long it's going to continue. And that's kind a worries me... The end of the anime is pretty good and I think it can end there. But the manga still continue after that end.. and I don't remember how or maybe I haven't read even that far...

But still! I like the manga more and if you like reading stupid... sorry weird.. okay okay, funny manga then you might like this~ It's pretty funny and quite addictive, specially if you haven't seen the anime. And I really recommend to read this than watch the anime because manga is better.

Oh and there is actually live action too!

I kind a knew about this one, but I haven't seen this yet.
This looks pretty funny one and I really like Japanese dramas and I haven't watch those in a loooong time! So maybe this is next J-drama what I'm going to watch! And it really seems that they have made this go same way as the manga! So I really want to see this.

And I must say that the actor who is acting Yamada in this live action is Yamamoto Yusuke. I'm not sure if the name is saying anything, but he had acted also Tamaki in Ouran High School Host Club live action! (and that live action is really good~). So that's one reason more why I really want to see this live action too~ hohohoho~

That just looks pretty funny one~
Maybe I should watch it right after I have finished watching Mushishi Zoku Shou 2nd season. Yes, maybe I do that! Hohohohoho~

Anyway! I think this is all for this time and I write next time maybe tomorrow or day after that! So see you guys soon~~

Plastic Memories

After failing his college entrance exams, 18-year-old Tsukasa Mizugaki is offered a position at the renowned SAI Corporation due to his father's connections. SAI Corporation is known for its production and management of androids that possess human emotions called "Giftia." Tsukasa's position is in the Terminal Service Department where their main job is to recover Giftias that are close to their expiration—it is a graveyard department in every sense. To make matters worse, Tsukasa is ordered to work with Isla, a female Giftia who was never given any responsibility other than serving tea to her co-workers.

I watched this couple days ago, but I was in Animecon (anime convention). So that took some days and I couldn't write here. But now I'm back! And I'm probably going to write about Animecon and the cosplays what we made! But later, probably when I have written about all the animes what I have watched through.

Anyway! Let's go back to the Plastic Memories!
I started watch this mostly because I thought that I don't have much animes to watch right now (which isn't true! I have so many animes what I want to watch... new and old ones). But even though I watched this because "I didn't have better things to do". I'm quite happy that I did watch this. This wasn't ultimate good or bad, but there was quite interesting story and there was some funny moments, really serious moments and really really sad moments! I really like that anime have those all. Even though I really don't like to be sad or even cry sometimes.

The characters wasn't really good or bad but still the story was good so I managed to watch this. The first episodes wasn't so good, but this anime gets better. In the end there was too much love for me, but it probably was necessary to make so love love scene to make everybody cry after that (but not more about that before I spoil more).

This was watchable anime, but it wasn't really good so I don't specially recommend this. But still I don't say that you shouldn't watch this, I'm quite sure that this anime have it's own fans ^^'

Punch Line

If he sees underwear, humanity will be destroyed!? An original anime series from the noitaminA block, Punch Line centers on Yuuta Iridatsu, a high school student, with a peculiar habit. When he sees a girl's panties, he gets so excited he faints! After a certain incident with a ghost cat, his soul gets separated from his body. Using his special powers, Yuuta watches the daily lives of the inhabitants of an apartment and sometimes plays tricks on them. Eventually, Yuuta decides to unlock the secrets to why Earth will be destroyed and tries to save it!

This is probably the weirdest anime which I watched this spring (well now is already summer but this is spring anime, oh well). I should have noticed that the name punch line didn't mean punchline in this anime. Let me explain! So this anime title is written like this: パンチライン (panchirain) in Japanese and then it's really close the word パンツ (pantsu) which means pantie. So the title is kind a pantie line. And I'm not really sure if they wanted the title have double meaning or did they just fail it. Well I didn't read the synopsis either when I started watch this so even though the title lead me wrong, the synopsis would have told me the truth!

Even though this anime was full of panties.... I watched it
The character design is good and I really like the animation style. Even the story would be pretty interesting if you ignore the panties. I actually started like the characters too and I wanted to know whats going to happen and how this is going to end. So there is enough reasons for me to watch this anime!

This anime is actually pretty difficult to understand or rather it's difficult to keep up for some people (I have read that some people don't really understand what is going on in this). It wasn't so difficult for me, but maybe some people need to concentrate more when there is time traveling and stuff? Or they just didn't expect that they need to concentrate while watching this kind of anime ^^''

Overall this was really weird and people who like panties and stuff probably like this.... Even though you don't like them but it doesn't bother you... theeeen you might like this too.
I think that this wasn't bad but it wasn't pretty good either.. Maybe if the end of this anime would be different it might be better (I really hoped different ending). But yeah, really weird one.. still not bad! (oh and even though the opening video is full of panties and stuff... its pretty good ^^'').

And that's all! Se you guys soon again!

Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. Zoku

This is second season of Oregairu.
So exactly what's going to happen when Hachiman Hikigaya, an isolated high school student with no friends, no interest in making any and a belief that everyone else's supposedly great high school experiences are either delusions or outright lies, is coerced by a well meaning faculty member into joining the one member "Services Club" run by Yukino Yukinoshita, who's smart, attractive and generally considers everyone in her school to be her complete inferior?

So this is Oregairu season 2 and the first season come up in 2013 (actually I didn't remember that. I thought that I watched it a little while ago... time goes so fast). I didn't like that anime really much. It was fine but I never thought that I would watch second season of it. Well I did! Actually some how this was better or I just don't remember much about first season. Anyway! Still this wasn't really good, but watchable so I watched it. The main character is little different than normal main characters are so it's nice.

This season feels pretty much same that the first one. But I'm still little upset that those three main characters relationship didn't move forward almost at all. Well I'm happy that there isn't any triangle thing or something like that. but they aren't still close or so close what I want them to be. In the end... well they are little closer now but after two seasons, they aren't still close. I really want them to be good friends! But I don't know when that's going to happen or will it even ever happen.

In the end, this season still feels unfinished. But this is based on a novel which isn't ended, so there is chance that there would be coming season 3 for this anime. I'm not sure if I watch it even if it come (it depends mostly if there is time to watch it).

That's all for now!
I write really soon more!

Hibike! Euphonium

Hibike! Euphonium begins when Kumiko Oumae, a girl who was in the brass band club in junior high school, visits her high school's brass band club as a first year. Kumiko's classmates Hazuki and Sapphire decide to join the club, but Kumiko sees her old classmate Reina there and hesitates. She remembers an incident she had with Reina at a brass band club contest in junior high school.

Again really cute and pretty looking anime from Kyoto Animation! I like so much most of their animes. If you don't know what they have made here is some examples: Chuunibyou, Clannad, Free, Hyouka and K-on! I'm always quite excited when they make something new. And this time again they didn't disappointed me. I really liked this anime, even though this isn't the best what they have done. But this is good one and really cute and I really hope that they make more! Season 2 please! There is manga of this and it's not ended yet, so we have hope!

There is once again really good and cute female characters. But I really hoped that there would be some male characters too. Well actually I was quite surprised that there was some of them! (when I saw first pictures and trailer there was so many girls). So I was happy that there was some boys too~ Actually in this anime there is surprisingly lot of characters! And that's one reason more why I want more of this. I don't know much about the other characters (except the main characters... okay, I want to know more of them too!) and in the end this anime leaves quite unfinished.

Oh and I really want to try trumpet!
But instruments are pretty expensive... and I want cello too.. maybe someday!

But that's all for now! I write soon more!~~

Kuroko no Basket 3rd Season

The third season of Kuroko no Basket.
After winning a fierce game against Yosen High, Seirin High successfully advances on to the semifinals of the Winter Cup. They continue to aim to become the champions, but have to face many powerful opponents along the way.

I can't believe that Kuroko no Basket is over! I love this anime so much! Of course there is coming some special episodes but it's quite impossible that there would be coming new episodes. It's really sad that there is not coming more, but maybe it's good. Sometimes is not good to continue too much (it would ruin good anime if they continue it really long). In some animes the series is first really good but go worse when they make season 3 (sometimes it go worst already in season 2). But in this anime the quality is even better when you compare first episode in season 1 and last episode in season 3. The animation looks so awesome! I liked it already in first season but now its looks so beautiful!

Kuroko no basket is my favorite sport anime, even though there is other really good ones! But this anime looks so awesome, the characters are really good, in every game you can't know for sure if the main character team Seirin is going to win or not (even though they win almost every time). And the characters have different and good backstories, And the ending is good! Even though you can pretty much guess even in the season one, that how this anime will end. But the journey to the end is good and really addictive.

And in this 3rd season there was couple episodes of flashback to the time when Kuroko was part of Kiseki no sedai! Already in first season I was hoping that they would do even one episode of flashback to that time (there was only short flashbacks now and then). But in this 3rd season there was 4 episodes of that (if I remember right). I was so happy! And I am still happy! At first they where so cute together! And of course things gets really sad, but they was so cute! I can't take it! They made even own opening for those episodes! That's so cute~

Anyway! I really recommend to watch all those three seasons! It might feel really long but every season is so good and it's good from the start to the end!

And that's all for now! I probably write tomorrow or even today more!

Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka

Commonly known as the "Dungeon," the city of Orario possesses a huge labyrinth in the underground. Its strange name attracts excitement, illusions of honor, and hopes of romance with a pretty girl. In this city of dreams and desires, new adventurer Bell Cranel has his fateful encounter with the tiny Goddess Hestia. Thus begins the story of a boy striving to become the best adventurer and a lonely goddess searching for followers both working together to fulfill their goals.

I finished watching this title monster anime last week, and this anime goes easier name too: Danmachi (much easier to remember). This is really short anime, only 13 episodes, but this is probably going to have season 2. Those 13 episodes feel only the start of this anime, so I'm pretty sure about season 2. And the manga is still unfinished!

I really liked this one! There is so many good characters! And I'm pretty happy that Bell is good main character (even though he is pretty normal main character). It wouldn't be nice if the main character isn't good. And of course Hestia is the best~~ and I know that I'm not the only one who likes her :''D. I have seen that Hestia is pretty popular character right now (if we don't count in Love Live characters). And that her boob ribbon thing is also a thing (like the boob window in shirts, but not so big thing). Well that was probably when this anime started, I haven't seen those thing in while (and I never understanded neither of those things) . But still, not only the characters but the world of this anime is pretty cool (and really game like). This anime leave really open so I really hope that more is coming even though I haven't heard anything...

I didn't write much (sorry about that) but this is all for now.
See you guys soon (because some of the spring animes are ending!).

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons

The story begins with a boy named Naiee paying his respects at the tombstone of his mother, who drowned at sea while he remained unable to save her. His elder brother, Naia, calls him to help their ill father reach the village's doctor, who in turn tells them the only way to save him is by collecting the waters from the Tree of Life. The brothers embark on their journey through the village, hills and mountains, while facing challenges like the local bully, a farmer's aggressive dog, and deadly wolves. They also help others along the way – reuniting a friendly pair of trolls, saving a man attempting suicide, and aiding an inventor.

I saw some game play of this and I really wanted to try this game. I bought this and played it couple days ago (just haven't written about it, until now). In this game you have to control those brothers separately. So it's not easy all the time (specially when they must escape something and you need to be fast.. ahahah). I really liked this game though. It's look pretty good and the game is interesting too. The characters was okay, but something is missing. Maybe they didn't have much personality... or so I think.

Anyway! Overall this game is really good, if you like this kind of games. And even though I would like different ending this on is good too (something that you probably didn't guess)
